Each pair of Trohet speakers is individually hand-painted by Jason. Every work is unique, with no two pairs ever the same.
The commission takes approximately 6–10 weeks to complete. Custom colours and commissions are also available on request.

THE STORIES OF FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE
Jason Ridgeway's work brings another form of storytelling to the Trohet.
Music has always been a way of communicating stories, memories and ideas. This collaboration brings visual art and sound together, using the loudspeaker itself as the canvas.
Each pair is painted by Jason by hand and exists as an original work. No two pairs are alike.
Custom commissions are also available. If you have a particular colour palette or direction in mind, this can form part of the conversation with Jason when commissioning your pair.
WARRANTY
The painted Trohet speakers come with 5-year warranty on electrical parts. The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse (i.e. blown voice coils).
Should the speakers be damaged by excessive volume, then we're more than happy to repair them at the cost of the parts and time.
SPECIFICATIONS.
The TROHET speakers are designed for critical music listening and are well-suited for general music enjoyment.
To get the most out of these speakers, we recommend an amplifier that can provide 100 - 500 watts of clean power. Please contact or see our blog post if you're unsure about amp choice.

One of the beautiful things about building these speakers is that we control where the material is sourced from.
With increasing deforestation rates and illegal logging, we've pledged to purchase sustainably viable timbers.
For example, American Alder is one of the most sustainable timbers on the planet with plantations growing faster than consumption - even the plantations are indigenous to where they're grown, reducing environmental and ecological impacts.
So. by buying these speakers, you can be assured that together we're making a positive change to how we source timber.
